Art & Soul Retreat in Italy

A Journey into Beauty, Creativity & Belonging

June 22 - 26, 2026

An Invitation to Remember Who You Are

Imagine a week where time slows down. Where the scent of lemon trees drifts through the air, laughter echoes across stone alleys, and your days are filled with art, connection, and magic. Where your creativity is not rushed or judged—but gently awakened, nurtured, and celebrated.

This is more than a retreat. It’s a remembering.

Join artists Paula Hartmann and Miriam Otto for 8 days of soul-nourishing art-making, deep rest, and enchanted exploration in Le Marche, Italy—a region often called Tuscany’s quiet sister, where golden hills meet the sea and ancient villages hold centuries of stories.

Together, we’ll rekindle your creative flame and listen to the whispers of your inner artist—the one who knows how to dream boldly, create freely, and live with more ease, depth, and joy.

What Awaits You

  • Slow days of embroidery, journaling, storytelling, and hands-on art workshops

  • A dreamy cooking class and long Italian meals that nourish both body and spirit

  • Journeys through olive groves, hilltop villages, and mountain waterfalls

  • Gentle adventures at sunrise and sunset, and conversations that open your heart

  • A supportive circle of kindred spirits who are also on the path of becoming

This retreat is a soft place to land. A wild place to bloom.

Accommodation Tips & Recommendations

Here is some helpful information on booking an Airbnb or hotel for the retreat week.

I haven’t finalized the exact workshop location yet, but it will be within 1 km of my home at:
43 Callender Street, Toronto (M6R 2H2)

I live in Roncesvalles, a lovely neighborhood just east of High Park. Other great areas to look for accommodation include The Junction, High Park, and Bloor West—all well-connected by public transit and beautiful to explore on foot.

Here’s a link to Airbnbs in the area.

If you’re considering a hotel, I highly recommend Gladstone House

a stunning, artsy boutique hotel nearby. It may be on the pricier side, but they occasionally offer great deals.

Other hotels I found nearby include:

Of course, there are plenty of hotels in downtown Toronto as well. If you stay near Queen Street, you’ll have easy access to the streetcar, which runs every 10 minutes and takes about 25-35 minutes to reach Roncesvalles.

Let me know if you have any questions—I’m happy to help!

Highpark - a ten minute walk from Roncesvalles
